Canada Pension Plan (CPP) / Old Age Security (OAS) Focus Group meeting March 13th in Toronto to improve service methods. NPF members in the GTA that may want to attend PLEASE RSVP.

The Government of Canada is always working to improve the delivery of services to Canadians.

As part of this process, we are reviewing our current Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Old Age Security (OAS) service standards to better meet client needs and expectations. Client views are critical to this process. We are therefore launching a series of facilitated focus group sessions, so that we can better understand client needs and expectations when accessing CPP and OAS services.

We are seeking assistance in recruiting citizens to participate in these focus groups.

We hope to speak with individuals who started receiving CPP and/or OAS in the last two years (January 2016 or later), or who have applied to receive federal pension benefits. We are specifically looking for individuals who are not particularly familiar with the process of applying or managing their benefits.

The session will last approximately two (2) hours and refreshments will be provided. The session will be held in the Greater Toronto area and is scheduled on March 13, 2018 from 9:30am to 11:30am.  Note that travel costs will not be covered as it is a local session.

If you are able to participate for this session, please contact Maria Katsetos at Maria.Katsetos@ServiceCanada.gc.ca. or 647-262-3038 at your earliest convenience.

Thank you in advance.
