NPF Attending: OHC May 28th Train Rally

May 28 Protest Rally Against Hospital Privatization

A province-wide mobilization is being organized for Wednesday, May 28 to protest hospital privatization in Ontario and call for stronger public healthcare protections.

Event Details

  • Date: Wednesday, May 28
  • Time: 12:00 PM rally
  • Location: Outside Union Station in Toronto, marching to Queen’s Park (Toronto)
  • Purpose: Protest against hospital privatization policies associated with Doug Ford

Transportation

Organizers are arranging VIA Rail and GO Transit train transportation from multiple Ontario communities, including:

  • Aldershot (Hamilton)
  • Barrie
  • Brampton
  • Guelph
  • Kingston
  • Kitchener
  • London
  • Port Credit (Mississauga)
  • Niagara
  • Oakville
  • Oshawa
  • Ottawa
  • Windsor
  • Woodstock

Registration Information

  • Reservation deadline: Wednesday, May 20
  • Cost: Free, but registration is required to reserve a seat
  • Registrants will receive train departure and return times

Donations

Donations are being accepted to help cover transportation ticket costs.
