See below how you can amplify the impact of this important campaign. — Single Seniors for Tax Fairness: It’s Tax Time – Help Advocate for Fair Taxation for Single/Solo Seniors – Please Email your Member of Parliament It’s peak tax season and consultations have also begun for the 2026 federal budget in the fall. This is an important moment to raise awareness about tax inequities affecting single/solo seniors. We have prepared a written submission to the Standing Committee on Finance – Pre-budget submission – and will request an opportunity to appear in person before the Committee. It’s a perfect time for you to contact your MPs! SSTF’s policy proposal, for which many of you voted, was passed at the just-ended Liberal Party convention. We’re appealing to you to be part of an email blitz to all 343 MPs and members of the Standing Committee. Please send your email by May 15th. It’ll take you maybe 5 minutes using our template.
