Tentative Convention Agenda
Get a head start on the Convention by picking up your name badge, event materials, and program at our registration table. Early registration will take place just outside of the Convention Hall.
A great opportunity to meet attendees ahead of the Convention start for an informal evening of conversation. Enjoy light appetizers and a complimentary cocktail (cash bar available).

Updates and recommendations from the NPF Housing Committee, followed by Housing-related deliberation on resolutions.
Special Closing Remarks & Adjournment
A local guest will offer reflections to conclude Day 1 of the 78th National Pensioners Federation Convention.

Trish McAuliffe, NPF President, opens Day 2 with key reflections and updates on organizational progress followed by presentation of the Medd Award for outstanding contribution.

Update on committee activities and key financial advocacy issues. Members will continue discussions on remaining submitted resolutions.
Chris Chan of BC TransLink will give an overview of national and regional strategies to improve transportation accessibility for seniors.
Interactive breakout discussions on long-term goals and action planning across NPF committees.

Enjoy lunch with fellow attendees.
Presentation on the evolving landscape of affordable medication.
Annual financial update and organizational budget highlights followed by Lisa Hansen of Belairdirect giving an overview of member benefits and partnership updates.
Remaining resolutions are discussed and voted on.
NPF Annual General Meeting
The NPF Annual General Meeting includes topics such as proposed amendments to the NPF Constitution & Bylaws, terms of reference reports for Standing Committees, elections for two-year terms of:

o 1st Vice President
o 2nd Vice President
o 3rd Vice President
o Treasurer
o Secretary
o Member-at-Large
